Classic Sportswear retains Nourie agency
GREENWICH, CT May 9, 2003 - Classic Sportswear & Promotions in Greenwich has retained New York City-based Nourie Public Relations, which recently opened an office in Greenwich, to develop a strategy to meet Classic's branding and public relations goals.
Classic has been servicing corporate marketing teams, professional sports franchises and special events coordinators and general promotional directors for nearly 15 years. The company started in New York with MTV as its first client.
The account director will be Phil Nourie, agency founder and president, with supervision conducted by Tom Maher, assistant vice president.
Founded in 1990, Classic has been servicing corporate marketing teams, professional sports franchises, special events coordinators, and general promotional directors for nearly 15 years. Notable clients have included Citigroup, GE, Sony, News Corp., BBDO, Heineken and PepsiCo, Inc. The company started in New York, with Viacom's MTV as their first client. From there, they worked with other entertainment entities as Late Night with David Letterman, the New York Mets, and NFL Properties.
